Goodbye Elder and First Contact From MTC!!!

Today has been bittersweet for this momma. So proud of my boy that is now a man but so selfishly sad too. I am excited for his adventure ahead and can hardly wait to hear all about it. Below is the email we received an hour after we dropped him off and a few pictures from the day and last night when he was set apart.

"Well it's been a while hasn't it? When I walked away my host told me about how he is going to go and take me to the library to get my Spanish books. He also took me to get my name tag. That was a cool experience. You were right by the way dad. It wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. I have to go back to class now so I'll talk to you on p-day.
     Love you and see you soon!"

I sure do love that son of mine and can't wait until p-day!
